We welcome applications from researchers who are interested in spending some time with our research team. If needed, a monthly stipend is often provided. Please send an email to Karen Rawlins if you are interested in being a visiting researcher at any of our three locations: Marina Del Rey, CA; Arlington, VA; or Boston, MA.
We are looking for Ph.D. students to join our GAIA (computer vision, NLP), SARAL (information extraction, summarization, machine translation), and DiSPARITY (image/video forensics) projects. If you would like to visit us and meet with our group, please contact Karen Rawlins.
We are looking for interested and qualified students (graduate and undergraduate) to spend the summer working with ongoing research projects at ISI’s VIMAL center on computer vision, image processing, natural language processing, speech recognition, machine learning, statistical modeling, machine translation, automata, and other related areas. Good programming skills are required, but prior experience in the specific area of the internship project is not necessary. We will provide tutorials on relevant topics at the beginning of the summer.
Note: If you’re interested in any of the above roles, we encourage you to contact the appropriate research area by sending a short email request to vimal-jobs@isi.edu.
